[摘要]糖尿病是心脑血管疾病的独立危险因素，而心脑血管疾病又是糖尿病患者常见的并发症和死亡的主要原因，降脂治疗可以显著降低糖尿病患者发生心血管事件的风险，使2型糖尿病患者获益。本研究通过查阅中国、欧洲及美国2型糖尿病防治指南、血脂异常防治指南及一些临床实验，对2型糖尿病患者是否需启动调脂治疗、何时启动调脂治疗、调脂目标值的设定、选择何种调脂药物、药物的剂量及血脂达标后是否继续使用他汀类药物等问题进行了阐述。通过本研究，加深对2型糖尿病患者管理的了解。
